Blue Light Disco’s
In the mood for a bit of socialising or you just want to have a good time with some of your friends why don’t you try out the Blue Lights. The Blue Light is held on the last Saturday of every month expect for December and January.
The Venue: Auditorium, Mittagong R.S.L. Club. Bessemer St. Mittagong.
Junior Disco: This is for children under 12 years. If aged under 3 there is no cost but for everyone else the cost is $4.00. Parents are welcome to attend and they have no cost for entry.
Senior Dance Part: this is for people aged 12-17 years old from 7:30 PM- 10:30PM. The cost of entry is $6.00. The tickets must be pre purchased.

All persons entering are governed by these conditions:

• Smoking and the consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden at both the junior and senior event
• Offensive language or behaviour will not be tolerated
• Neat tidy dress required

• Tickets are available from Bowral & Moss Vale High, Bowral & Picton Subway, Blackburn Bowral, Funky Fairy Bowral, Bundanoon Newsagency, Moss Vale Sports Store, & Michele’s Tahmoor
• Buses are available throughout the Wingecarribee and Wollondilly for the senior dance party

Local Pools
There are various outdoor pools located throughout the Southern Highlands. The pools are closed for the winter. The pools are heated so the water will be just the right temperature when you get in. For more information http://www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/services/swimming-pools

Local Venues for Hire

There are stacks of halls that are available for hire throughout the Wingecarribee Shire. The cost will vary depending on the type of event you are having, how many people will be attending, if there is alcohol, live bands, public liability insurance costs, etc. Each hall in the Shire has its own management committee who can tell you what the costs will be and if the venue is available.
